Joe SteadmanJoe, a Michigan native, graduated from Pittsford High School in 1992 and went right into the US Army. He served as a artillery forward observer and a M1-A1 tank gunner during his years active and was involved in a few deployments. After the army Joe graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown Wisconsin with a double major in History and Bible. He married Monica Sparling, his best friend and together they started a family. Joe and Monica felt lead to move to South Korea and there they met Tom Vasel and Sam Healey. The Steadmans stayed in Korea for 4 years and left to start a church in Canada. Through fate Joe's direction changed and he went to the police academy. He took a job as a deputy sheriff after and worked as a road patrol officer until recently.
Joe has been playing wargames since he was 10 years old when he bought a copy of Panzer Leader at a garage sale. With the help of his father Joe mastered the game and began his life-long love of historical gaming. Before moving to Korea he had been involved in many types of gaming from miniatures to RPG to CCGs. He has a vast collection of wargames, historical and fantasy miniatures, and designer/Ameriatrash/ Eurogames. He enjoys reviewing games and will play (and make fun of) just about any game at the drop of the hat.
Joe, a former teacher, missionary, and police officer is now a full-time Dad of 5 as his wife is a full time student at Ferris State University chasing her childhood dream of becoming an Army officernurse. He is a vocal gaming enthusiast and avid follower of the hobby.
