Ben Forgard

I am fairly knew to the world of gaming, at least when electronics are not involved. Apart from classics like Monopoly, Scrabble, and the like, I really had very little experience with games. Except for Scotland Yard and Axis and Allies, I didn’t really know that non-“classics” even existed. My gaming experience started in Fall of 2007. Stationed in South Korea with the United States Army, I met Tom Vasel at church within days of arriving to the country and have since let him influence me into going from mostly a video-gamer to mostly a board-gamer.

I do not have a clear favorite game genre, though I do especially enjoy cutthroat games, as well as cooperatives. In addition to board games, my hobbies also include music, reading, writing, blowing stuff up, and combining the art of Lego-building with a stop motion camera.

Ben will be the temporary co-host during July and August, 2009
